 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Tristan Canavan, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Canavan is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least one every time she's  taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was  Paige Ancherani, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Lakeland can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Friday. Everything went their way against Honesdale as Lakeland made off with  a  17-2 victory. The  win was just what Lakeland needed coming off of  a  16-3 loss in their prior  game.
 Dunmore pushed their record up to 3-0 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.8 runs per game. As for Lakeland,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
