Leeds put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Pinson Valley Indians as the Leeds Greenwave made off with a 14-4 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 last Tuesday.
Nash Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He also stole a stolen base, marking his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Joseph Bryant looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
