Kerman was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Washington Union on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Panthers 14-4. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Eliza Garcia tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March.

At the plate, Vanenzya Enriquez was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Chloe Alvarez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Kerman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washington Union only posted a batting average of .292.

Kerman's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-6. As for Washington Union, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Kerman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against Hanford West on the 2nd. As for Washington Union, they have also already played their next match, an 18-6 loss against Sierra Pacific on the 2nd.
