Middletown Christian lost against Dayton Christian back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 28-20 to the WARRIORS. On the bright side, the 20- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Olivia Riley and Presleigh Bowlin did some serious damage despite the final result: Riley got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, while Bowlin got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs. Gabriella Highley was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Middletown Christian and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Dayton Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Middletown Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-9 victory against Meadowdale on the 11th. As for Dayton Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against Carroll on the 11th.
