Pinecrest Academy Cadence posted their closest win since September 28, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Pahrump Valley Trojans 2-1. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bailey Cox paced Pinecrest Academy Cadence's offense, picking up ten kills. Cox got some help from Alessandra Chamnong and her 20 assists. Chamnong was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Pahrump Valley, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.
