After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Terry, Forest Hill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lanier Bulldogs as Forest Hill made off with a 16-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Forest Hill let Ari Potter and Zakylia Pittman run wild. Potter scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Pittman scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Potter is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Kailie Banyard also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Forest Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lanier, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Forest Hill will take on rival Provine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lanier is set to face off against their familiar foe Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
