Sicily Island will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Block at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Sicily Island might have drawn first blood against Vidalia last week, but it was Vidalia who got the last laugh. Sicily Island ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-34 walloping at Vidalia's hands. Sicily Island were down by 7-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Block couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-49 to Buckeye. Block were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-36.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-1. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
