There's no place like home for William Blount, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Lenoir City Panthers 18-4 on Monday. Considering the Governors have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

William Blount pushed their record up to 16-16 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lenoir City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.

William Blount will square off against Hardin Valley Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Hawks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lenoir City, they will be playing at home against Sequoyah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
