Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Rock Hill Bearcats, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They suffered a tough 31-7 defeat at the hands of Spartanburg on Thursday. Rock Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Spartanburg found their leader in underclassman Trenton Lynch, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown.
Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Spartanburg, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Rock Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Spartanburg will head out on the road to face off against J.L. Mann at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. J.L. Mann is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
