Kambe also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with nine. Xavier Prep got some further help from  Jesus Pazos: he picked up  a  sack and made 12 total tackles.
 Despite the loss, Palm Springs still got an impressive performance from   Bishop Miller, who threw for 171 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Palm Springs also got a significant boost from  Jordan Johnson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 105 yards.
 Xavier Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Palm Springs, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Xavier Prep has already played their next matchup,  a  14-7  loss against Rancho Mirage on the 25th. As for Palm Springs, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  35-6  defeat against Palm Desert on the 25th.
