The Rigby Trojans stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Skyline 63-31 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Rigby who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Kambree Barber, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Abbie Scott, who scored five points along with three steals.
Skyline lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexa Haacke, who scored five points.
Rigby pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
Rigby will head out on the road to challenge Thunder Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunder Ridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Skyline, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. Hillcrest is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
