Lake Country Lutheran lost against Kettle Moraine Lutheran in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 74-60 score last time.
Lake Country Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Poellet, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jj Cerny, who scored 9 points.
Lake Country Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Country Lutheran will square off against St. Francis at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Francis focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. Kettle Moraine Lutheran will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ripon at 7:15 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (Ripon is ranked 96th, while Kettle Moraine Lutheran is ranked 101st).
