The Exeter Township Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Daniel Boone Blazers at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Exeter Township is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Last Friday, Exeter Township was able to grind out a solid victory over Conrad Weiser, taking the game 6-3.

Jake Hafer made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Franek, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
Daniel Boone not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24, 2024. They put the hurt on Conrad Weiser with a sharp 10-1 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Blazers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Chase Yenser was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Daniel Boone is 2-1 when Yenser posts two or more runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Owen Howells also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Daniel Boone was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Exeter Township's record is now 9-2. As for Daniel Boone, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-8.
Daniel Boone's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Exeter Township has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .441. It's a different story for Daniel Boone, though, as they've only averaged .337. Will they be able to contain Exeter Township's hitters?
