The Canton Golden Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Stillwater Warriors at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Canton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Canton beat Potsdam 47-42. The victory was all the more spectacular given Canton's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Potsdam is ranked 34th).
Stillwater has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Saratoga Central Catholic at home to the tune of 89-55. Stillwater's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Canton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Stillwater, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
