The LaFayette Bulldogs lost against the Valley Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. LaFayette was beaten by Valley 75-47. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for LaFayette in their matchups with Valley: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Branaviyun Story, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Jayden Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
LaFayette's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Troup County the next time they take the court. Valley will head out to face Troup County at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while LaFayette will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
