The Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack will face off against the Resurrection Bandits at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Saint Ignatius College Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Saint Ignatius College Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over Northside. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolfpack as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Zoe Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katie McClain, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Anne Crotty was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Saint Ignatius College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northside only posted an OBP of .333.
Resurrection hadn't beaten Fenwick on the road since April 23, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Bandits came out on top against the Friars by a score of 4-1. The victory continues a trend for the Bandits in their matchups with the Friars: they've now won three in a row.
Elizabeth Dorgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, Mia Gurdak was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Madison Kruszewski, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Saint Ignatius College Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Resurrection, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
