Orem has won four straight games at home, while Uintah has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Utes at 3:30 p.m. Orem knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Uintah likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Orem made easy work of Provo and carried off an 11-1 win.

Ashton Belnap was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.
In other batting news, Jaileigh DeMaria was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Camber Hancock, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Orem was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in eight consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Uintah never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Summit Academy as they made off with a 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Utes, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Like Orem, Uintah also got a great game from a two-way player: Lynlie Hall. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hall has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kynlee Bristol, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Leena Sharp was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Uintah's win bumped their record up to 14-2-1. As for Orem, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Orem hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Uintah struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Orem couldn't quite finish off Uintah when the teams last played two weeks ago and fell 13-11. Will the Tigers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
