Antwerp had lost seven straight on the road, but  on Friday they dropped their record down to 8-11 to make it eight. They came up short against  the Hilltop Cadets, falling  6-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Archers have suffered  since March 29th.

On Hilltop's side,  not much got past  Giada Rising, who gave up just  four  hits to keep Antwerp off the board.
 On the hitting side, Hilltop let  Kelsy Connolly and  Brooklyn Kuszmaul run wild. Connolly  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI, while  Kuszmaul  went 2-for-3 with one  home run. That's the most  hits  Kuszmaul has posted since back in April.  Sophie Graham was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antwerp will welcome Paulding  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Hilltop, they will host Pettisville  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
