Despite the loss, Pinecrest saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kennedy Moore went 8 of 17 on her way to 23 points and three steals. Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played.
Fairmont got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shaniah Smith out in front who posted 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taniya Simms, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards.
