The Hermitage Panthers lost to the Freeman Mavericks back in December of 2023, but the Hermitage Panthers didn't allow the Freeman Mavericks the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Hermitage walked away with a 42-30 victory over the Mavericks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hermitage.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hermitage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Breyona Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Robinson has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. Tori Woodley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Hermitage now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Freeman, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hermitage will take on the Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Glen Allen will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Freeman, they and the Tigers will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
