South Lamar won the last time they faced Pickens County and things went their way on Friday too. The South Lamar Stallions managed a 60-56 victory over the Pickens County Tornadoes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

South Lamar's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Pickens County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Lamar will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sulligent at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Pickens County, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Gordo at 6:00 p.m.
