Even though the Sierra Stallions scored an imposing 67 points on Thursday, the Falcon Falcons still came out on top. Falcon took their match against Sierra 75-67. That's another feather in the cap for Falcon, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Eric Graham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with three blocks. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Potts, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Falcon and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Sierra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
Falcon will be playing in front of their home fans against Canon City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Canon City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Falcon is ranked 102nd). As for Sierra, they will head out on the road to face off against Sand Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
