Firelands had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Black River Pirates with a sharp 67-47 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Black River lost, don't look at Zane Kristophel. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-15 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hunter Varney, who posted nine points and three steals.
