The Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Urban Prep-Bronzeville Lions at 1:00 p.m. on December 27th. Urban Prep-Bronzeville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Muchin College Prep, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, Muchin College Prep earned a 32-21 win over ITW David Speer Academy.
Muchin College Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen McIntyre , who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Richard Blancas, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, Urban Prep-Bronzeville pushed their score all the way to 55 last Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 70-55 fall against Morgan Park.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Davion Worthy, who scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jakari Dismukes was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Muchin College Prep's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Urban Prep-Bronzeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Muchin College Prep came up short against Urban Prep-Bronzeville in their previous meeting back in February, falling 75-70. Can Muchin College Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
