 Brady Tran put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Tran was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  double and one  RBI.
 Tran wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Reid Ridley, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Clear Brook's loss dropped their record down to 8-14-2. As for Clear Creek, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8-1 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clear Brook will  face off against  rival Clear Falls  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clear Creek is set to  take on  their familiar foe Clear Lake  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Wildcats 3.2, the Falcons 4.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
