Make it eight blowout wins for the Las Lomas Knights this season. They were the clear victor by a 74-53 margin over Albany. The win was familiar territory for Las Lomas who now have five in a row.
Las Lomas' win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hudson Douglas, who scored 21 points. That's the first time this season that Douglas scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Will Jones, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and two steals.
Las Lomas pushed their record up to 13-10 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Las Lomas will face off against Campolindo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Campolindo presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Las Lomas in California (Campolindo is ranked 62nd, while Las Lomas is ranked 237th). As for Albany, they will head out on the road to challenge Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richmond comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
