With a playoff win on the line, Eldorado rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Rio Grande Ravens as they made off with a 16-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Sullivan Wilson was a standout: he fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Gonzales, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Eldorado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .645. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Eldorado, bringing their record up to 24-4. As for Rio Grande, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.

Looking ahead, Eldorado will face off against Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Storm's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Rio Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
