4A Conference 20 recap October 1, 2013
Dinwiddie added to the longest winning streak in 4A Conference 20 this week by beating Colonial Heights, 77-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Generals.
Caroline scaled the state rankings by moving to 219 from 258 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cavaliers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Champe 35-0.
Ronald Kearney threw for 173 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 9-10 with 0 interception.
Kearney put up the best numbers in passing as Dinwiddie beat the Colonials. Kearney's favorite target this week was Rashad Stewart, who caught 3 passes for 80 yards.
Dinwiddie's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Generals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kearney has thrown for 756 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Stewart has 12 catches for 267 yards.
Billy Mills' team took down Colonial Heights 77-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kearney ran for 15 yards during the win.
