Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Irelynn Beecham stepped things up a notch to give Henry County the 'W'. Beecham was dynamite, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Beecham and Henry County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
