Football Recap: Meek Piles Up the Points Against Cherokee

Meek's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They really took it to the Cherokee Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-6 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 48 points or more this season.

Meek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games. As for Cherokee, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
