The Oaks-Mission Warriors can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They put the hurt on Welch with a sharp 62-39 victory. The win was just what Oaks-Mission needed coming off of a 81-38 loss in their prior game.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Hardin, who scored ten points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Thomas Ashworth, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Oaks-Mission has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Welch, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Oaks-Mission is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Cave Springs at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Welch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
