The Whiteland Warriors lost against the Seymour Owls back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Whiteland took a 61-44 bruising from Seymour. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Whiteland has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Whiteland lost, one person who can't be blamed is Wiatt Mclaughlin. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points. Gavin Stubbe was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Whiteland now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Seymour, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
Whiteland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Connersville at 1:00 p.m. on December 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Connersville is ranked 218th, while Whiteland is ranked 210th). Seymour will be home for the holidays to greet Lawrenceburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lawrenceburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
