Last Tuesday, Dallas Jesuit kept a clean sheet against Pearce. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. Given Dallas Jesuit's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Pearce is ranked 72nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Highland Park's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to Lake Highlands. The loss put an end to Highland Park's undefeated start to the season.
