If Buffalo wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wayne, they should've done a better job of containing Colton Heck. The Pioneers came out on top against the Bison by a score of 64-56 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Heck, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards. He has become a key player for Wayne: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 20 points, but 0-3 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Carter Ross, who posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.

The victory got Wayne back to even at 3-3. As for Buffalo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-44 win against Evansville Day on the 2nd. As for Buffalo, they will head out to face off against Scott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bison will need to watch out since the Skyhawks have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
