There's no place like home for Middle Creek, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Chapel Hill Tigers  on Thursday.  Middle Creek found their leader in sophomore  Cameron Gerber, who  had 23  digs and four  assists.  Amelia Hofmann also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  blocks of the season.
The  win snapped Middle Creek's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Chapel Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Looking ahead, Middle Creek will challenge Wakefield at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Chapel Hill, they will square off against Falls Lake at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
