The Jefferson Saints will head out on the road to square off against the Platte Canyon Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Platte Canyon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Jefferson, who comes in off a win.
Jefferson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 84-52 victory over Bruce Randolph on the road. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for Jefferson this season.
Meanwhile, Platte Canyon was the victim of a rough 65-42 loss at the hands of the Panthers on Saturday. Platte Canyon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-14.
The victory makes it two in a row for Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 3-14. As for Platte Canyon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8.
Jefferson took their win against the Huskies when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 66-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
