Basketball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Skates Past Hendersonville Christian Academy with Ease

Foundation Christian Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 82-33 win over the Hendersonville Christian Academy Crusaders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-35 last Tuesday.

Foundation Christian Academy was led to victory by Logan Nix and William Cummins. Nix dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards, while Cummins posted 17 points. Nix is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last four games he's played. Griffin Lohden was another key player, putting up ten points.

Foundation Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points per game. As for Hendersonville Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foundation Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Stem Preparatory Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
