Capac dropped their record down to 6-6-2 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clawson Trojans. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

As for Clawson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games.

For Clawson's part, Elliott Groves was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Logan Fulks was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capac will take on Brown City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clawson, they will host Sterling Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Stallions at the right time seeing as the Stallions are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
