Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westlake). They walked away with a 62-50 victory over the North Olmsted Eagles on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Demons as they're now sitting on five straight.

Defeat or not, North Olmsted got some senior leadership from Taylor Wengstrom and Katie Strong. Wengstrom posted 18 points and seven boards, while Strong went 6 for 9 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wengstrom has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Outrich, who put up seven points.

Westlake pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for North Olmsted, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Westlake has already played their next game (against Lakewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Olmsted will face off against Valley Forge at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. North Olmsted is facing Valley Forge at the right time seeing as Valley Forge is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
