Softball Recap: Keller Has No Trouble Against Keller Central

Keller was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Keller Central on Tuesday. Everything went the Keller Indians' way against the Keller Central Chargers as the Keller Indians made off with a 14-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Sydona Meiser was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three doubles. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenna Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Keller's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Keller Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4-1.

Coming up, Keller will venture away from home to take on Kingwood at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Kingwood: 1.7, Keller: 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Keller Central, they will take on Azle in a tournament on Thursday.
