North Central Missouri recap September 17, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mexico, who took down 181st ranked Marshall, 14-7.
The Bulldogs moved up to 179 from 228 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Central Missouri. Mexico climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Owls 14-7.
Joe Schlemeier and Travis Dean gave Fulton a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Schlemeier threw for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Dean ran for 133 yards. Sam Christensen also contributed to the rushing game with 107 yards on the ground.

Dean was the most successful running back in the league this week.
Austin Hulbert was the best receiver in the league this week as Boonville lost to Hannibal. Hulbert tallied 4 receptions for 96 yards. Josh Judd helped Boonville's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 88 yards.
Schlemeier put up the best numbers in passing as Fulton bested North Callaway.
He went 7-16 with 1 interceptions.
Pat Kelley's team's Schlemeier and Chris Tilson have formed a dream team this season, leading North Central Missouri in both passing and receiving yards. Schlemeier has thrown for 722 yards this season, while Tilson has 16 catches for 373 yards. Makenna Cook from Kirksville leads the league in rushing with 422 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Moberly takes on second place Fulton.
The Hornets' offense has recorded 126 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Moberly has permitted only 37 on the year.
Fulton took down the Thunderbirds 54-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Schlemeier in the win.
