Central School fell 38-31 to Mount Olive Christian. Central School has not had much luck with Mount Olive Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Central School lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lola Doyal, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Central School's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Mount Olive Christian, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central School won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Briarfield Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. Briarfield Academy's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Central School's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mount Olive Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Psalms Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Psalms Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
