Plymouth Whitemarsh relied on the efforts of   Cole Reilly, who rushed for 92 yards and three  TDs on only 11 carries, and   Michael Giangiulio, who rushed for 154 yards and a pair of  scores on only 11 carries. Those  three  rushing touchdowns gave  Reilly a new career-high.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Plymouth Whitemarsh was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 306  rushing yards. Meanwhile, Upper Moreland fought the good fight in their overtime  contest against Wissahickon  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  28-27 to the Trojans. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Plymouth Whitemarsh will have to contain  Elijah Davis as he made an impact in Upper Moreland's last game. He rushed for 115 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.  Justin Valentin helped out on the ground, rushing for 91 yards.
 Upper Moreland's  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-3.
 Plymouth Whitemarsh beat Upper Moreland 21-14  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonials since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
