It was fun while it lasted, but Ballston Spa's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Averill Park Warriors, falling 61-27. The matchup marked the Scotties' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Scotties players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Kramer, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Kramer is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Sprissler, who had two points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Ballston Spa smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ballston Spa fell to 4-1. As for Averill Park, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Ballston Spa will welcome Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ballston Spa is facing Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at the right time seeing as Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Averill Park, they are taking a road trip to challenge Guilderland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
