The St. David Tigers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 58-12 victory over The Gregory School at home. St. David might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 27 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Anissa Jacquez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. The contest was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emelynn Jacquez, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
St. David pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for The Gregory School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. David and San Manuel will face off at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for The Gregory School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against NFL Yet Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
