After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westwood, Paradise Adventist Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Upper Columbia Academy Lions by a score of 2-0. The Cougars were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Cougars were just returning the favor.

Kelsey Ching paced Paradise Adventist Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Ching got some help from Jenna Jeffries and her 20 assists. Shay Almodova controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Paradise Adventist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Upper Columbia Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Paradise Adventist Academy and Upper Columbia Academy will both be playing Cascade Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face Cascade Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 3:40 p.m.
