Basketball Recap: Eagle Academy II Drops Season-High Score on Inglewood

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eagle Academy II). They came out on top against the Inglewood Sentinels by a score of 97-86 on Saturday.

Eagle Academy II found their leader in sophomore Lee Robinson, who posted 34 points. Another player making a difference was Amir Dockery, who had 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Inglewood lost, don't look at Jason Crowe Jr. Despite the final result, he went 20-for-39 en route to 56 points and three steals. Crowe Jr has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more points the last 38 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Conerly, who shot 70% from the field to rack up 22 points and four steals.

Eagle Academy II's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Inglewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

Eagle Academy II wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-46 victory against Brooklyn Collegiate on the 16th. As for Inglewood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 109-81 win against Varsity Opponent on the 18th.
