The Lake Fenton Blue Devils gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against Flushing by a score of 32-22. For Lake Fenton, this counts as revenge for the 41-35 loss Flushing walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.
Lake Fenton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emerson Baker, who scored 9 points along with 5 steals. Anna Prevost was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Lake Fenton's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Flushing, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Fenton will take on Brandon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brandon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. Flushing will be home for the holidays to greet Kearsley at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th.
