Softball Recap: Southwest Christian School Has No Trouble Against Fort Worth Christian

Southwest Christian School never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Fort Worth Christian Cardinals with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Lara Langford was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Langford was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Davidson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karis Jones, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Southwest Christian School's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-5-1. As for Fort Worth Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
