Conner won the last time they faced Bryan Station and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Defenders by a score of 2-0.

Conner found their leader in sophomore Alexis Kampsen, who had five digs and two aces.

Several Defenders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nyalie Locke, who had four digs and two aces. Locke has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 13 times she's played. Tylah Walker also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Conner has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Bryan Station, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Conner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Henry Clay on the 27th. As for Bryan Station, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Owensboro Catholic on the 27th.
